Junior Team Tennis
Jr. Team Tennis fees are per month for the entire month, and due at the beginning of each month. Fees are prorated for cancellations due to weather. Classes that meet once a week cost $60 per month, and twice a week $120 per month. Junior Team Tennis during summer months (June, July, August) is billed per time attended, not on a monthly basis.
All of our certified USPTA/PTR instructors are independent contractors approved by the facility. All payments for private lessons or tennis classes are to be made to the specific tennis instructor teaching you or your child. Classes are offered year-round.
We generally have a waiting list for all of our year-round classes. Out of courtesy for others, if you decide to drop from the class please inform your instructor ASAP.
If your child is going to miss the first class meeting of the month, please inform your instructor in advance. Otherwise, your child’s spot will be offered to someone on the waiting list.
Appropriate (Non-Marking) tennis shoes must be worn at all times. Our tennis instructors have been informed to check their student’s shoes to make sure they are non-marking. Anyone with shoes that mark the court will not be allowed to play. In addition, High heels, cleats, dragging chairs, etc. will damage the upper walkway between courts 3-8. We ask that you pick up chairs to move them and avoid contact if wearing high heels, cleats, on the upper walkway.
Food & Drinks
Food and drinks are only permitted on the upstairs deck – no food or drink (other than water) is allowed in the walkway area between the upper courts (Spill-proof containers are permitted). No GUM or alcohol is allowed anywhere on the on the premises.
The Dana Hills Tennis Center is not structured for daycare. Out of respect and comfort of our members, guest and all players at our facility, we kindly ask that parents control and supervise their children who are not participating in classes. Please; No toys, balls, etc are not allowed and non-participants must be able to sit quietly during their sibling’s lesson(s). We encourage kids and parents to sit with their child quietly while waiting for others to finish their classes or lessons.
Pick-up & Drop-off
Please keep the red zone area clear at all times with either picking up or dropping off your child. Parking tickets are handed out by the Sherriff’s department. During the winter months, we would like all of the children to remain in the building or on the walkway prior to being picked up. We prefer that children do not wait in the parking lot for their ride home.
