The Cardio Tennis curriculum is fun, action packed, program taught by a teaching professional. Cardio Tennis is first and foremost a fitness program. It is more about getting people moving and active…less on hitting great forehands and backhands. A Cardio Tennis program will elevate a person’s heart rate into their aerobic zone. The pro will challenge you to your ability and fitness level. DHTC provides a Cardio tennis workout programs on Thursday evenings.
A Typical Cardio Tennis Program Includes:
Warm-up: 10 minutes
Cardio segment: 40-50 minutes
Cool Down: 5-10 minutes
*Games: 30-40 minutes
Thursday Cardio Workout and Games – 6:00-7:30 pm – $20 (Please contact Corey directly as this class is currently on hold).
This class is geared toward the intermediate tennis player. Same heart pumping fun, music, tennis drills and includes tennis games to improve your tennis skills and strategy.

About Corey Rhodes
Corey Rhodes is a veteran tennis player of 30 years and has been playing local team tennis and tournaments in Orange and Los Angeles Counties for close to 20 years. He has been an instructor for the past several years in Orange County and is pleased to expand his coaching practice into Dana Point at the Dana Point Tennis Center.
Corey is a USPTA Certified Teaching Pro and teaches year-round clinics for kids along with adult drill and instruction classes. Corey particularly enjoys teaching adult Cardio Tennis classes and is a firm believer in making cardio based exercise fun using Fitness Through Tennis.
